Lee Parker is the creator and owner of Do Salon. In 1994 he attended the International Hair Olympics in London where he also studied hair design at the Toni and Guy Institute. Lee was employed in Chicago as the make-up artist at the Elizabeth Arden Salon where he studied with Artistic Director Pablo Manzonni. He studied skin care at the Christine Valmy Institute NYC and in Atlanta he practiced skin care at Kenneth NYC. Lee's first love is hair design and he honors it by welcoming all clients into its heart, Do Salon.
Tomoko Nakagawa has been well known in Bloomington for years as the go-to stylist for Asian hair. Her warm, calm demeanor present a true spa experience. Tomoko's attention to detail and precision cutting skills are her trademarks.
Sarah Reid attended Cosmetology School at Hair Arts Academy in Bloomington, IN and has enjoyed cutting and styling hair for years. She has done hair and makeup for weddings, photos, and local fashion shows. Sarah really enjoys the alternative and creative aspects of cutting, coloring, and styling hair.
Connie Harrell has over fifteen years experience as a nail technician. She specializes in silk wraps, glassing, acrylics, and gel. She offers the convenience of express pedicures. Connie is now offering shellac polish for regular manicures that lasts up to 14 days. Her clients consistently compliment her warm personality.
Carla Swanson attended the Aveda Institute at Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She graduated in September 2005, specializing in facials. Carla was featured in Allure magazine July 2007 for best waxing in Philadelphia. After three years in the city, Bloomington became her new home. Carla gives her personal touch with every one of her services.
Jordan Evans is Do's managing receptionist. A true professional, Jordan takes pride in caring for each guest that comes to Do. Jordan is currently attending Hair Arts Academy in Bloomington and is looking forward to an apprenticeship at Do next year.
